Privacy policy
Short version: this site sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, has no forms, and sells nothing about you. The calculator works entirely inside your browser.
1. What we collect on this site
Nothing that identifies you. There is no account, no email capture, no comment system and no contact form. Nothing you type into the coverage calculator is transmitted, stored or logged — the arithmetic happens in your browser tab and disappears when you close it.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, heat maps or fingerprinting.
2. Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to serve the site and defend against abuse; these are retained for a short period under the provider's own policy.
If you click a link to a third-party site — including the quote links on this site — that company may set cookies in order to attribute the referral. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policies, not ours. We never receive your name, contact details or application information from them.
3. Email
If you write to contact@lifeinsuranceanswers.xyz, we receive your address and whatever you include. We use it only to answer you, keep it no longer than needed for that purpose, and never add it to a marketing list or share it. You can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time.
4. Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links, which means we may be paid if you request a quote. The link itself may carry a reference code identifying this site. It does not carry any information about you beyond what your browser sends to any website you visit.
5. Your rights
Because we do not build profiles, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you may request a copy or deletion of that correspondence. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. To exercise any right, email us with the subject line "Privacy request".
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy and no third-party scripts. Because there is no database and no user input stored, there is no stored personal data to breach.
7. Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made silently.
